2011 Environmental Summit Announced

17th Annual Environmental Legislative Summit to be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011
Please join us at the 17th Annual Environmental Legislative Summit, where elected officials, citizens, and community leaders from across the State come together to outline the important environmental priorities for the 2011 Maryland General Assembly.

Invited speakers include Howard County Executive Ken Ulman as the keynote speaker. Mr. Ulman is one of the state's youngest county executives and was recently elected president of the MD Association of Counties. He is "the new Green Lantern ... determined ... with an ambitious agenda. Ulman has made environmental progress and energy savings a key issue in his administration," said the Baltimore Sun.
In addition, Senate President Mike Miller, Speaker of the House Michael Busch, EHEA Chair Joan Carter Conway, and EM Chair Maggie McIntosh have been asked to offer their thoughts on the environmental priorities for the session.
