West/Rhode Riverkeeper works to protect families and communities by stopping pollution. We strive for healthy and safe rivers and streams. We work together with communities to enforce environmental law, promote restoration, and advocate for better environmental policy.
Join West/Rhode Riverkeeper in protecting the right of our families and communities to enjoy clean and safe water.
In June 2013, we adopted our new Strategic Plan, which will guide our organization's vision and goals for the next 3 to 5 years. View the plan HERE.
We are a licensed member of Waterkeeper Alliance, an international movement of on-the-water advocates who patrol and protect over 100,000 miles of rivers, streams and coastlines in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. Made up of nearly 200 local Waterkeeper organizations—employing more than 400 full-time and 200 part-time environmental activists, educators, scientists and attorneys— Waterkeeper Alliance keeps Waterkeepers connected, provides them with legal, scientific and communications support, and unites their voices as they take on major global water issues together.
