Thanks to funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, we are able to present our water quality data, along with other sources of data, as the West and Rhode Rivers Report Card.
Our 2013 Report Card (at right) is a summary of the current health of the rivers. We worked hard to make sure it is both scientifically credible and easy to understand. Click on the Report Card to view it.
The Report Card grades six different indicators of the rivers' heatlh. It also includes steps you can take to help improve our grades. Remember, nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something. Working together, we can make our waterways safer, cleaner, and healthier.
We are part of the Mid-Atlantic Tributary Coalition (MTAC). To see the assessment methods we used, see MTAC's Sampling and Data Analysis Protocols.

In 2012, we also conducted Focus Group research to improve our Report Card and evaluate what can make it even more effective. This research is useful to any organization that publishes a Report Card, or is considering it. Click HERE for the final report.
